So last night Yankee kept scratching at the closed bedroom door which he never does. So I got up at 130 to let him in the back and I thought he went to the bathroom came back to bed and at 330am he wakes up again so now Im tring to see what he is doing when I let him in the back. Poor baby was constipated..what in the world do you do with that? I mean do you give them something to make it easier.Not trying to be gross I just really had no idea what to do and he was trying so hard last night.thanks!

I suggest you call your vet. They will know the best solution. They may give you a home remedy to try, and if that doesnt work, you may to visit the vet...But definitely call the vet....They've probably heard it a thousand times, so they'll be able to tell you exactly what to do!

try some olive oil or vegetable oil in his food. I do this for my dogs coats and it helps with poopy too...if I have leftover bacon grease I put this on their food as well...
