Looking for meet up spots

Hi everyone, NOT a norcal knottie, but I did grow up in SLO county. Anywho, my sis lives in SF and has recently realized that she is not close with any of her hs or college friends anymore. Any suggestions on places in SF/things to do/clubs or hobbies to join to meet non crazy, fun people? She is 21, but acts 25. And he bf (and I believe he will propose soon) is 25. Apparently, they met a couple that they wanted to become friends with, but that fell through. Any ideas would be appreciated. TIA.

SF has a ton of community clubs. I have friends that are part of kickball groups, softball, volleyball, do team in training, book clubs, etc. It is out there, you just have to look for it.

It really is just going to depend on what she is interested in and what type of people she is looking to meet.  A little searching online, maybe even on craigslist (I think they have listings for activities and stuff?), could be a good starting place for her.I know that for me, finding a church to go to played a key role in finding my group of friends.  Also, there are tons of organizations to volunteer with (Habitat for Humanity, SF Food Bank, etc), lots of running clubs, tons of recreational sports leagues, etc etc.It takes some searching, and some time and patience (believe me, I know!), but it is possible to make connections and find friendships in this city.  Best of luck to her!

Thanks ladies. I know she tried the craigslist way and that was by the sound of it, no good. I'll tell her to check these suggestions out. Thanks again

The board does GTGs now and then. Maybe she could go to a GTG. Its a good place to meet new people.
