  Yikes! Sounds like you're having an awful time with your dressmaker! We had something like that a few years ago when I was a BM for a friend. They got everything wrong and mis-labeled the dresses so we wasted ages on the day trying to squeeze me into a dress two sizes too small while another BM wandered around in mine talking about how much more comfortable it was! Be firm with her. Make sure she knows that you'll be publicising it locally if you're not happy with her work!We're having a bit of a nightmare here, but it's not really wedding related. My sister-in-law (to be) and her husband and baby were given 2 days to leave the apartment they rent because the landlord defaulted on his mortgage (they always paid their rent, he just never passed it on to his mortgage!). So I've re-arranged our (tiny) place and now have them staying with us for a month! I don't mind having them here - but the timing could not be worse! Still so much to do for the wedding!Oh, and big knickers all the way! I'll be wearing Spanx under mine. I'm used to wearing them, but if you're not, make sure you wear them a bit to get used to them before the day or you may feel too restricted!

  Oh God, sounds like you're having a nightmare with the dressmaker! I was going to suggest t-o-n-e-r photography aswell, I'm sure her prices are comparable to Bently & Wilson and everyone that has used her has been happy with her. Also, not sure how much Ron Miller is? We ordered one of our bridesmaids dresses later and were promised it would be delivered on 11th October, which was fine. I called them on Monday to ask where it is and they said it will be here on the 24th- we LEAVE on the 23rd! They are now saying it will be here Monday but I don't trust them Ah thank you! I just had my last fitting today and it finally fits (just! ha ha!) the bridal shop are going to steam it for me on Wednesday, then pack it into a travel box on Thursday for us to collect in the afternoon, then I'm taking it on as hand luggageWhere are you flying from? We go on the same day!

  Hi, Thanks for all the photographers - emailed all of them in the hope that one will be able to do it! So far out of the 6 I contacted 2 are not free. I fly from Manchester in the morning. What sort of box are you using as I was going to take a suit carrier just for the bottom half of my dress - the top is a basque so I was going to pack that. I called the airline and they said they would hang it in the wardrobe. My headdress is big so I have put that in a shoe box and I will pack that. I have made a list of everything I need to take and it is all laid out in my spare room - I am so worried that I will forget something. My dress is finished - at last but I did it myself - my dressmaker is one of those that everything is too much trouble and everything is about her. We are going tomorrow to see if she has almost finished two but she had not even started our little girls - and she was crying because she really wants to try it on - she has promised that they all will be finished by Wednesday.I dont know I have waves of really good days and then waves of really bad - I look awful because I am soooh tired but next week I have just got to pack and print off a few bits for the trip so I am going to rest alot. Tonight we are going to fill in the licences so it will be quicker in LV.   I just booked DTyler Photography as well for my wedding in April and really recommend them. Deacon is such a sweetheart, SO much nicer than you'd expect from a photographer, and they all seem to really love they're jobs. They were at my sister's wedding in July and her photos turned out awesome! Best of all, they retouch all of the photos and I've already told him to pay extra attention to my big booty when he's photoshopping lol. I wish I could have gotten that pricing though.....Are you sure that's correct? All of the other ones I've seen for around that price just give you the pictures right out of the camera, or only retouch a couple. I would double check with DTyler on the $349 pricing though.

  Hi, Booked Deacon - he is so friendly - he wants to meet for a coffee before the day to make sure we get the photos we want - and he is extending his deal.
