signature drinks

Is anyone doing signature drinks? If so how many and what are you doing? We are able to get one with our venue but I can't think of what to do. FI and both like crown and ginger but if I did that I think many people won't drink it since many dont usually like crown. Also I was thinking a martini but those are more like girly drinks. I was thinking something blue since our wedding color is Tiffany Blue, any suggestions or I'll just see what everyone else has for ideas. =)

    I think we're doing something with grape (our color is purple). Just google "blue cocktail" and see what comes up!

    We aren't given a signature drink but i'm stealing someone's idea (I think Arlyn??) and doing 2 drinks... 1. The bride recommends "The Courtini" (A malibu bay breeze, my favorite drink) 2. The groom recommends "The Box" (vanilla vodka and club soda, his favorite drink).   :)

    This is random: Vanilla vodka and diet coke = YUM. It's like a vanilla coke. So good.

    I definitely think you should go the two drink route.  Do a blue martini... for ideas go to the bargain books section, there is always a 1001 Cocktails type book there, and then your other color...or if not clear and do something more simple like a vodka tonic or you or FIs favorite drink...  HTH!     OoO thanks for the recommendations ladies. Ive thought about the blue Long Island, thats a thought. Also the vanilla vodka/run one sounds yummy!! =) im gonna google and see what I can find.

    We went to a Bridal Show about two weeks ago where they serves us something called FireFly Iced Tea... it was amazing!!! And I'm a huge fan of tea, so that's going to be my recommendation at the reception.

    I really want to do this but it's definitely an added cost that I'm not sure I want to incur. If we were to do it though, I'd probably do Mojitos or Sangria.

    Twinkle-OoO Ive heard about that Firefly drink, I wanna try it but they dont sell it in St Maarten, and when I was home I forgot to try it out, def next time.

    Since I wanted a pink drink we went with a Cantaloupe Martini and the venue had it butler passed. It was a huge hit! 1oz. Grey Goose Vodka1oz. Watermelon Liqueur2.5 oz. Fresh Orange Juice 1 squeeze fresh lime juiceGarnished with Watermelon

    Lacey: It's sooo good. As soon as I tried it, I told FI, this is our signature drink. I even had it on the rocks and it was amazing... sooo smooth. I hope you get to try it soon!

    I know this is more of an acquired taste but... Hpnotiq is tiffany blueish... maybe something using that?

    We're doing something bright orange and fruity, but I haven't decided what yet..  FI's favorite drink is Hennessy and cranberry - yuck!! Def not serving that to the guests!!

    We're doing a non-alcoholic "signature drink". We aren't doing full liquor at the wedding, only beer and possibly wine but no one in the families is big on wine. But we don't want people getting totally wasted and having to drive (the wedding is way out in the farm lands of martin county lol). We're doing a pink sorbet lemonade that's a recipe from a family friend, garnished with lemon or grapefruit slices.

    I would've liked to have done this, but I don't really drink, so there's nothing that I could call my signature drink.  I do think it's a cool idea if you can afford it though!
