Davis DJ reviews?

I just booked with Davis DJs because they are having a deal. (I got what they normally price as $2,400 for $659!) I was jumping for joy as I need to stay under $1,000 for my DJ... However, I'm now starting to second guess myself. I'm starting to hear my Mom's voice in my head "if its too good to be true, it probably is..." sigh... Anyone know anything about Davis DJ? any reviews?

    I'm in the same boat as you!  I got their deal for $579 for what would normally be $2,100.  I spent some time looking at wedding wire reviews and their website.  I think we'll be in good hands though - especially because they let you see videos of the DJs in action, so we'll know what we're getting into beforehand.

    I also just booked with them, and I asked this question maybe a week ago (no snark there, just letting you know). Some ladies on here gave negative-ish reviews, but weddingwire checked out pretty well. My budget was around $700 for the DJ, so when he offered me $579, I grabbed it and ran. The impression I get is that Bill can be kind of snakey sometimes, so you just have to watch for opportunities he might throw at you for him to make more money. Since I'm not super picky about exactly which DJ I get, I'm not worried.

    Yeah, I saw some negative reviews too. I think people just like to complain sometimes, and/or bash things. I'm not in love with any particular DJ so I don't forsee spending more than I already am. Most people seem pretty happy overall on the wedding wire. I'm going to stay happy and positive about my choice.
