Ceremony sites??

I'm Jenn and was referred to this page by some of the ladies on WB. I'm pretty new to this area having moved from NY.

The fiance and I are
...getting married in October and have decided to keep it small (12 guests)
to conserve our funds BUT we are having soooo much trouble finding an
affordable ceremony site in Kane/McHenry County!! We have a
couple of officiants in mind but would LOVE an indoors ceremony site
and can't seem to find anything under $300. Any suggestions?Thanks
in advance!!!!

If we have to we'll go to the J.O.P, but I have no clue how to set things up with them, either.. haha.

Sooo, I was hoping to
find someone from the Chicago NW burbs who may be able to help me with
my planning a little or share their experiences??

    Have you checked out Algonquin's Riverfront Park? I think it would be an adorable place to get married. There's a little raised pavillion you could stand on with the officiant, and then there is a bricked area in front of it for your guests to sit. I couldn't find any pictures of it online, but if you are interested, let me know and I could go down there tomorrow and take a pic or two for you (I live very close).

    I don't know how much it would cost, but I can't imagine it'd be too expensive.
