Hello everyone!

I'm curious what your thoughts are on this.  My FI and I really like the song "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz.  Is this an okay song for a first dance?  What are your thoughts?

Also, when are people getting engagement pictures taken?  I was thinking fall (wedding is June 22, 2013) because then the season the pictures are taken in will be different than our wedding photos.  Is that too late?

    Sorry I don't know the song... But if it is what you want, it is you two who are dancing to it so it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

    I just got mine done at the end of April, but I wanted this season because it is our favorite time of year, plus in the fall he is hunting so it wouldn't work anyway.  Honestly though, a lot of fall sessions I've seen have been absolutely gorgeous, a few of my good friends had theirs in the fall and it is a great opportunity for photos.

    And no, it's defintiely not too late, some people wait until 1 or two months from their wedding to do their engagement session, so you are definitely way OK.

    I am using that song for our last dance I think...or somewhere in the ceremony. I don't know yet. I love that song and I love Jason Mraz. 

    We are not doing our e-pics until Septermber 23rd. I wanted them in a different season and I also wanted them more urban than park because our entire wedding is going to be in a park and we won't be leaving to do pics anywhere else on the wedding day. It's also football season and we are huge Buckeye fans so one outfit will be OSU gear. 

    I was worried it was too late to do it then, but our photographer said it would take her about two weeks or so to get them to us so we have plenty of time to order STD's and send them out by November.

    My SO doesn’t want to go E-photos because they “are a waste of money, and we have lots of photos of us” (The photos of us are all Myspace style photos and are all camera phone photos.

    I really wanted to get ours done in either the spring or fall just so they would be different from the wedding photos.

    It is your wedding do what you want to do. Also I think whenever is fine. We haven't gotten ours done yet.

    I also think that fall is totally fine. We are getting our pics done this weekend, but just because we wanted blooming flowers in the background.
