Dress Recs

I am having second thoughts about my dress that I bought a while ago in MA ( which is where my wedding is ), and I would like to look around here to see what my other options are, however I do not know of any good bridal shops here. Please provide me your recs on where to get a bridal gown in the Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, etc. area. TIA !!

I purchased mine from the Bridal Shop at the Avenues. My dress hasn't come in yet...but it's been a good experience so far. For the most part I only went to smaller boutiques. Places like David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo's stress me out. I made the mistake of going to Alfred Angelos on a Sat afternoon...there's no way I was going to D.Bridal after that! lol Some girls have had good experiences at them though.

I went to Alfred Angelo for mine but like the pp said, do not go on a Saturday afternoon because it is crazy on those days.

i didnt find anything I liked anywhere in Jacksonville. I went down to Solutions Bridal in gainesville. I would highly reccommend going there. They have some beautiful dresses.

I went to Park Avenue Bridal in Mandarin and almost got a Maggie dress there, but then found a similar one that I liked even more at David's Bridal.   Like everyone else said, avoid going on the weekend if you can.

The first time we went to the bridal shop at the avenues we were kind of ignored. We were looking for less expensive wedding dresses and a bride came in with a bigger budget and the consultant on the floor kind of ditched us when she came in.The 2nd time we came in (just to try on a specific dress) they were very attentive but found the dress cheaper on line (ebay)I tried on dresses at Michaels  (St Johns town center) and they were very nice and attentive, just didn't find what I wanted there.

I found my dress at Michael's at Town Center. I just happened to drive by and see it. I don't live in Jax anymore and wasn't planning on getting my dress there. They were very nice.

I second Michael's at the Town Center. I didn't buy my dress there...but I DID shop there and they were great.

Thanks so much for all your recs. I am going to check them out. I was also recommended to go to LOVE - A bridal boutique in Jax Beach from a co-worker of mine. Anyone have any feedback for this boutique ?
