We plan to go to the Nearlywed Seminar at Park Cities Baptist Church.   I think it is $70 per couple.

My Fi and I plan on going. I have a list at home of dates and places that have these classes. They are all throughout the metroplex. The great thing is, is that the class is FREE. Also, if the class is completed I believe it waives the Marriage Certificate filing fee. The only downfall is they are held on Saturdays from 9-5. But one Saturday could save you some money, if your on a wedding budget like we are, it matters!  I will try and post the information this weekend.

We're doing the "Before You Say I Do" classes at Prestonwood Baptist right now. It's $50/couple. We're really enjoying them! They have the sessions 4 different times during the year.

We did "Prepare to Last" offered through FBC Euless. I would highly suggest some sort of counseling. I really feel that not doing something is irresponsible. You spend months and thousands of dollars planning for one day, invest a little time planning for the rest of your life.

We did a Twogether in Texas class. It was held in Denton County, it was free, and it qualifies for the free marriage certificate.

Jon and I took ours at Fellowship Church in Grapevine - it was $40 for the two of us.  They included breakfast and lunch - plus our marriage certificate will be free because the class was certified by the Texas Twogether program!  We really enjoyed it!

Just FYI, unless it's changed since June (which it could have), your marriage license still costs, it's just alot cheaper. We had the certificate from Texas Twogether and ours was $11. It also waives the 3 day waiting period.
