I think I am going to post the link for our engagement pictures because I want some of your opinions. I am not sure if I like them, and I am not sure if I want to stay with him. Please I want you to be honest and tell me what you think.     I looked at them.  I like your red sweater with the background it really makes those greens pop out.  The only thing is maybe you need more of a variety of poses and backgrounds.  It seems like you guys are just sitting there in front of the camera, maybe more action photos would be better or like more close up pictures.  Hope this makes sense and helps you out.

    I think they are good. Are they not what you were wanting? The colors outside and in your outfits are good together. Maybe he did do them a little posed, and should have done more action, or artsy shots since you are not fans of the camera. Overall, they are photos that you will have for 50 years from your wedding day, so if you are questioning things at all, it is your gut feeling that matters, we can't answer that part for you unfortunately. The photos of you and your fiance are not bad, the photographer just didn't go above and beyond. Did you talk to him ahead of time about what you wanted? Or was he unsure. If you stay with him, be sure to show him samples of your likes and dislikes and get him a list of must take photos. Good luck.

    I agree that they are good but don't have that extra artistic spark. It really depends what you want from your wedding day. I know for us that the pics were the most important so if I were questioning it then I probably would look into others. As the previous poster said, you need to have a chat with your fiance and gut check it. Good luck! It is a tough decision....just trust you and your fiances instinct...

    thanks ladies you helped me realize what they were missing....that artistic/journalistic flare. Now its just finding as photographer that doesnt charge an arm and a leg haha

    Have you checked out my engagement photo sneak peek on my Bio??  If you like my photos, maybe you should check her out.  She is very budget friendly and has a great personality.  She has kept to doing family, senior, kids, photos, but is now starting to do wedding photos, I saw a wedding she did this month and she did a great job.  I think she is going to charge me 700ish for everything I want and all the photos on a CD.  http://web.me.com/dianamandernach/Site/Photo_Galleries.html
