  Hi Rivka I don't know if this is sack-religious but there are a few sites created for other religions which may require modest dresses- I think I came across one a long time ago for Latter Day Saints? Also, have you considered getting a strapless dress with a bolero or even sleeves added on. I was a border-line plus size bride. Now a street size 14, was 16 when shopping.   Where are you located?? There are several modest wedding dress shops in Brooklyn and New Jersey. Also, try doing some google searches for modest wedding dresses... you'll be suprised at what comes up.

  I live in florida and i want a long sleeve gown my niece just got married she is also a BBW big beautiful woman like me and she had a strapless gown it did not complement her and i hate bolero jackets

  You didn't find anything at David's?  They have a nice large size department and can add sleeves to most dresses!

  honestly, if a particular dress did not complement your cousin, then its her own fault, as she is the one that picked it out. Can't blaim it on a strapless strapped etc dress. what style are you looking for. Have you found pictures of anything at all you may like? Are you looking for long sleeves to cover yourself for austhetic reasons or for religious reasons? are you looking for a lace dress? satin? silk? I don't know what the selection is like in Florida but I imagine outside of NY/NJ you will have a hard time being able to get something off the rack.   long sleeves to cover  for austhetic reasons  and religious reasons. it does not matter on the type of material as long as it is beautiful

  whats beautiful to one person could be hideous to another (case and point- your cousin's dress) If you really need help from us, some direction would be helpful. Are you willing to purchase online? What is your budget? What fabrics do you find to be beautiful?

  i'm sure there are modest dress stores in south florida, considering there is a somewhat large orthodox population there. maybe you could call shuls, community centers, chabad, etc. and ask around for recommendations? we have a ton in brooklyn but unless you're planning on coming to NY, I don't think that would be much help. you could also look into getting your dress made by a seamstress. my sil had hers made and it actually turned out to be cheaper than my off the rack dress, plus its tailored just for you! good luck!
