I was thinking about getting the m&m's online to put in favor boxes with our names & wedding date on them.Has anybody done this? Is this a good idea? Thanks!

I think its a super cute idea, but those printed M&Ms are expensive !!!!!!

My mom is an M&M freak so she is ordering some for us. I love the idea and I think they are super cute, but I just don't have money in our budget to spent because they are really pricy. When I told my mom that she told me that she will order them because she has to have them. My FI told her the only way she could do that is if she doesn't personalize with pictures because he doesn't want someon eating his face, LOL

Pro tip- order some but then mix in plain m&m's in a coordinating color.

I have an Australian friend who has ordered these twice. He has them shipped to my house and then I send them along to him. They've always looked really cool.

I ordered a bunch for a party last year. Definitely order plain ones and mix them in. They were a big hit! I'm on their mailing list and get coupons pretty regularly- you can sign up at mymms.com.

I think it's an adorable idea! My mom ordered those for me when I graduated from college. They taste the same and are adorable. I think mixing in regular ones is a good idea.

We are doing this, except not with the printing on it. I was originally going to do a candy station but I'm so behind on normal planning there would be no way in hell I would have time to assemble one of those. So my mom and I talked about just getting a huge mixed bag of M&Ms in our colors and just giving little "burlap bags" full of them. They are super expensive but I don't know where else you would be able to get exactly the colors you want, so its worth it I guess.

I am planning on getting the m&ms too! They are expensive, though! FI and I decided that we would scrap the idea of favors in individual containers because people would just throw them away afterwards, and it really adds up to get one for each person. So I think what we're going to do is just get a wide glass bowl/vase and put the m&ms in there, maybe on the cake table or something. That way people can get some if they want, but we're saving at least $100 on the little containers.
