NWR: Boo at the Zoo, etc.

Sooooo, I readily admit to being a total slacker. . . I wanted to take my neices to Boo at the Zoo on Saturday, but never having gone and knowing nothing about it, I didn't realize that tickets actually sold out AND fast! That being said, if anyone has 3 (would love 4) tickets or knows someone who does and can't use them for the 24th, I'll pay double. I know it's a long stretch, but I'm pulling out all the stops just in case. Any ideas on other types of things I could do with them instead? They're both girls, 6 and 9. It doesn't have to be Halloween or fall, that's just where I was leaning. Help! :)

If you're an East-sider, the Lake Metroparks Farmpark has a really cute haunted hayride in the evenings (very family friendly).  Patterson's Fruit Farm has a lot of fall activities, also.  Westside has Mapleside Farms.  There are TONS more...just a starting point.

Check out Szalay's Farm in the Cuyahoga ValleyNational Park. They have a pumpkin patch, hay ride, market, and a huge wooden swing.

Typically Boo sells out both Saturdays every year... Thursday, Friday, Sunday are all available though. (I only know this b/c I work for the Metroparks..). Are you looking for something during the day or at night? Mapleside in Brunswick has a fun cornmaze and other kids activities. Plus I highly recommend Mapleside since it's where I'm having my ceremony and reception! If you're looking for during the day, you can still visit the Zoo during the day and see all the decorations, just won't have all the same Boo activities! Hope that helps!

Ohhh, thanks Ladies! Kayleigh: I am indeed and east-sider. . . and the farmparks are sold out. :( Kse: I'll check out their website! :) Thanks! Megerin: And why didn't I ask this question sooner? lol. Thanks! I'm going to look into mapleside right now, too. I'm shooting for more evening, but day could work too. I have school stuff during the morning, so regular zoo hours won't work so well. . . and fri/sun are out simply because of how far they live from the zoo. Sigh. I can't imagine being a mom. . . an aunt is hard word!
