We got in early this morning from our honeymoon in California. It has definitely been an adventure the past two weeks!! So, here's some pics, and some stories.
First off, pretty much NOTHING went as planned. My brother-in-law, who was in charge of getting and setting up the chairs for the ceremony completely stressed me out by waiting until 30 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to begin to finally show up with the chairs. The set-up for the reception hall ended up so last minute that a lot of stuff got forgotten. A little over half of the "yes" RSVPs actually showed up. Everyone left the reception early, which pretty much killed all planned activities for it. My wallet disappeared from the hotel room sometime during the reception (and still hasn't show back up) along with my ID, credit card and several hundred in cash. We missed our flight out to California on Monday morning thanks to the missing wallet, and once we finally got there we then had to fight with the rental car agency for two hours before we finally got our car.
But, in the end, we are married. Things certainly did not go as planned, but what did go right was beautiful, and all that really matters is that the vows were spoken, the license was signed, and we're now Mr & Mrs.
Our photographer was a friend of ours, and since I'm a photographer as well he just gave me all the files for me to edit as I wish. He hates editing (he's not a photographer by trade) so it worked out in both our favor. I spent most of the flights to and from Cali working on photos and still haven't made it through the reception photos, let alone the 1000+ I took on the honeymoon! So here's a sampling.

My dress - a photo I took.

"Somethings" - old: Grandpa's dog tag, new: shoes, borrowed: Mom's charm bracelet, blue: anklet. Also one of my photos.

Ready to put the dress on!

Last minute touches - earrings

Nick looked amazing!!

We had a good looking group of guys!!

I was so nervous.

Love this picture. Nick's first reaction to seeing me!

I was a blubbering mess. Lol

My ladies also looked very beautiful.

In front of the covered bridge was the perfect location.

Finally!!!

Husband and wife!

I've got a better one of the whole party, just haven't edited it yet.

Probably my favorite photo from the day.

Kissing at the bridge.

The cake - totally not what I originally planned, but beautifully done by my best friend.

We surprised everyone with our choreographed dance.

Cutting the cake!!
As I said, there's more I haven't edited yet, but that's the gist of it. I'll post pics of the honeymoon eventually too.
