So we booked our Disney cruise the day after sailing dates for 2013 were announced. We would have booked first day when prices are supposed to be the best, but I found out a day late...
Well yesterday, my mom calls and says that our cruise is sold out (a couple family members were also planning on going on the cruise, we don't expect to see much of them at all) and wanted to know what gives. It wasn't sold out two days ago and no other cruise in our month is anywhere close to being sold out. Posted on my cruise meet on the DIS and someone mentioned that they were worried they would be turning it into a DVC member only cruise. Which appreantly means that they can kick off everyone with existing reservations who is not a DVC member.
I am stressed and majorly POed that this is even possible. We booked two years out, were paid before the one year mark, and we have already requested these specific dates off for our HM and been approved. FI keeps telling me not to worry until we get official word from the DCL, but I am super stressed out. I wasn't even aware that this was something that was a possible concern. I figured once we had our reservation we were good to go. Fellow cruisers have tried calling DCL and DVC to find out what's going on and they haven't gotten any answers.
Blah.
