I went home (ya...so I'm from Cleveland) for FI's cousin's wedding this weekend. I met up with FMIL in Cleveland's Tower City mall for coffee at about 6 pm on Saturday night. Tower City is an amazing old mall--beautiful building. I loved it growing up as a kid. Anyways, sitting there having coffee with FMIL (all dressed up and ready for the rehearsal dinner), and I notice that this guy keeps moving seats. He would spend 5 minutes at one table, then move to another, and another. At first I got paranoid--I had my purse, contents and all, just laying out on the table; I feared he might be scoping it out to see if he could grab it--after all, it was just FMIL, me, and random seat-changer dude. The guy was sitting near the 2nd floor balcony, so he kept opening his left side of his coat--I couldn't help but noticing that it looked like he was trying to block the view of the people below or above him overlooking the balcony. And then I realized what he was doing--and I almost lost it. This guy was going to town on himself!!! I just pray FMIL didn't see it... Cleveland makes me sick now.
