  Mine did. One knew how to. The other didn't, so, the Rabbi wrote it on another piece of paper and he copied it (he knew how to form the letters, just not how to spell his hebrew name).

  At least in Orthodox custom, yes.  We elected to sign our own Hebrew names, but to have our witnesses sign only in English, but we used a Reform rabbi.

  Our conservative rabbi said he could provide a 'cheat sheet' for anyone who needed it.

  yes- our 2 witnesses were 2 rabbis who signed in hebrew. we also had an english portion below signed by 2 witnesses we selected, they signed in english.

  we will be using a cheat sheet for ours. our witnesses are not orthodox or overly traditional and fluent in hebrew

  ditto. has to be in hebrew (we're conservative), and the rabbi offered a cheat sheet if they needed it. maybe only reform could be english? but not really sure.
