DIY Bouquet...

For the girls that did your own bouquet, how much did it cost and where did you order from? Was it hard to put it together and make it look good without taking a class?I ask because my florist quoted $75 for a bouquet for my bridals on Sunday. Which I assume is reasonable but didn't know if for a little effort I could get it for a lot less money. Plus my bridals will only be for an hour...I could always get shots by myself with my bouquet on wedding day.TIA :)

Get the roses from Costco and you'll save a load

I spent $20 on misc. flowers from WalMart and did my own bouquet. The bridal pic bouquet was not a priority to me. If not, check Central Market or Market Street.

For your bridals, I would just go to whatever store is local that sells flowers and put one together. (Sam's, Costco, Walmart, Kroger, Tom Thumb....) Just make sure that you have floral tape or twine, sharp scissors, and some ribbon to wrap around the stems to make it pretty.Search on youtube for a how-to video-- Here is one I found really quickly-- there are TONS on there: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJtA1oEpoLI

Thanks girls! The bridal bouquet is not a huge priority for me either (at least anymore haha)I will see if FMIL would like to take on the project of putting them together.Central Market is kind of far from us but I know everyone has had a good experience with them.

If you don't live near a central market, forget about that particular store. Your bridals are about the bride, not the flowers she is holding. Any flowers that you find at any store should suffice.
