Eva's Bridal of Orland Park

I'm sure there's a post on this, but the search function isn't working for me right now! I'm planning on looking for my dress and the bridemaids' dresses at Eva's in Orland, but I just saw some really bad reviews on Google Maps. Some loved it, but others said the service was awful. Anyone get their dresses from there? What was your experience? Thanks!

My experience there was great - dress came in when they said it would, they were pleasant to me, allowed me to take pics, and negotiated on price with me to actually give a better price than I could even find anywhere online.  I didn't get my alterations done there so I can't comment on that.  I have a review in my married bio but I think it pretty much just states what I have already said.

Oh and for BM dresses I was able to get them for a much better price through Pearl's Place (online - actual store in Louisiana so no taxes either) and would recommend doing a price comparison before purchasing at Eva's - you may also be able to use their quoted price as leverage in negotiating a better price.

I got a better deal on my BM dresses online from Netbride, but was very happy with my shopping experience at Eva's (where I bought my bridal gown). Judy was my sales associate. She worked with me on price, I felt like I got a very good deal on the gown, and I enjoyed the experience. No reservations about recommending it to anyone.

I didn't buy my dress there, but had a good experience. They have a lot of selection and the sales associate was very helpful. I remember them having a lot of lace dresses that I loved. You should definitely give them a try!

I purchased my gown and bridesmaids dresses from Eva's of Oak Lawn; I went to EOOP but I didn't like their setup. I found it very difficult to look at the dresses - and I had NO clue what I was looking for when I initially went, so their idea of telling them what I'm looking for and they would go find the dresses wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. I couldn't WAIT to get out of there because of the racks. When I went to Eva's of Oak Lawn I brought pictures of the dress that I loved, and Kina immediately pulled dresses that were similar and while she did that, I went through all of the dresses. I wound up picking the dress that was similar to the dress that I fell in love with when I was in Australia, and it was one that she found for me.Don't get me wrong, they were helpful at Eva's of OP but I just preferred the Oak Lawn location.

Hey gals, I also went to the Evas of Oak Lawn and had a good experience.  But can't say anything about the one in Orland, never been.  I have to say though it was a little confusing at first when you walk in and they tell you to just pull whatever dresses you think you will like.  I was soooo lost!!  Then my BM's just started pulling all sorts of styles and I was totally overwhelmed.  So my consoltant (can't think of her name, polish gal, very sweet), pulled 1 that she thought I would love and that was the one I ended up choosing!  I had that "moment"  haha.  So they let me sit there in the dress for an hour while my mom raced there to pay for the dress.  They were very sweet and helpful. However, we could not take any pics, my sister almost got thrown out!  lol.  So it was a pretty good experience, all because of the consoltant.  If not for her, I would have said no to an y Eva's!! haha.  David's bridal was definetly a little more organized.  But I found my dream dress and I'm happy with that!  :) Good luck Gradeschool!! :)

I bought my dress at Eva's.  The sales lady was really helpful and gave us a discount.I ordered in in January and gave them my real wedding date of November.  I was told my dress would be in sometime in August.  Well August came and went and I did not hear from them.  I made several calls in early September and no one ever called me back.I began to worry at the beginning of October.  The receptionist told me they never missed a date, but I didn't want to be the first.  I actually put down a deposit on another dress because I was so worried! The dress came about 4 weeks before the wedding.  If you don't want to worry about your dress, don't go to Eva's.  The most aggravating part was the lack of customer service.  The manager was never there and I never got calls back from them!

I had a good experience at Eva's in Orland. I bought my dress and my bridesmaids bought their dresses there. Their dresses were cheaper there than at Pearl's place.
