Bridesmaids dresses that you can REALLY wear again!

Hi Knotties, Okay, so I have 4 lovely bridesmaids and we are looking for dresses for them. I am sort of anit going the traditional route and would prefer to get matching dresses that are not real "bridesmaids" dresses. Because I want them to be able to wear them again! So I need some help....what are some good websites/stores to look for dresses? The wedding is 5/23/10 and the color I am looking for is a fuschia/berry pink. I prefer the dresses to be short (right above or right below the knee). I've tried Ann Taylor, Jcrew, Nordstroms, Bloomingdales already....but can't seem to find anything I like.....let me know if you can think of any other places to look! Thanks in advance for your help! Gina

David's Bridal has a pretty good selection of BM dresses that could totally be worn again. I''ve seen a few and they're really cute!

Try Aria in Pasadena. I don't know how much you want to spend. Their dresses are beautiful but pricey (IMO). You have to call to make an appointment in the weekend. Check out their website and then call. Good luck!

I don't know your budget, but mine are using chloe & reese, they make super cute dresses that all my girls want to wear again. Here is a link http://www.chloeandreese.com/main.asp?p=products&id=D_C030 They do have several cute other styles and offer a bit of a discount wen you order 4 or more.

I totally know what you mean - I wanted dresses that were reasonable, comfortable and cute.  My bridesmaids wore black dresses that hit right above the knee that I found on Nordstroms Rack online for like $60.  I was also a BM in another wedding where we got dresses off the rack at Macys, though that is much eaiser if you all live in the same area, which my bridesmaids did not.  Anyway, I would check those two places.  The next couple of months would actually be a really good time to look because everyone has big sales on dresses for holiday parties.Good luck!

My girls are getting j.crew dresses, but I know you said you already looked there. For what it's worth, they LOVE the dress and it's great quality for the price. It doesn't seem bridesmaid-y, and they really will wear them again. I even bought the same dress in another color because I like it so much!

We bought pink swing dresses from unique-vintage.com I kept one of them for myself I liked them so much :) The place has a store you can visit in Burbank (in case you don't want them all to pay shipping). They're definitely worth checking out if that's your style.

    Try Anthropologie or BCBG.

I was going to suggest BCBG as well... or even Windsor.. they have a nice selection of short dresses that are definitely re-wearable.

I would definitely recommend ShopRuche.com its like Anthropologie but way more affordable and they just added a super cute bridesmaid section. Also Lulu is another great online store. This way they can have gorgeous dresses that they'll love to wear again! Hope that helps ;-)
