FI wants me to walk down the aisle to the Vitamin String Quartet's version of Can't Help Falling in Love but I haven't finalized that yet. I do like Cannon in D but FI thinks it's overdone. Who knows what we'll decide lol.

I love canon in D, as well. I know it's overdone, but maybe that's why I feel such a strong emotional reaction to that song, b/c it makes me think of other weddings I've been to, or maybe it's a just simply a beautiful song. I have to talk to my church about the options, but that's probably the top of my list.

My bridesmaids are walking in to "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee" because we have a pianist, violinist, and a trumpet booked for the church and it sounds awesome! For me, it's Trumpet Voluntary. It's so regal sounding to me and we're in a fairly big Catholic church so I think it wil be perfect. I'm excited!

I hate the traditional wedding ceremony songs. That's just me. I totally dance to my own beat.

My BM's are liking an intrumental song from the twilight movie for them to walk down. I'm looking at a guitar accustical of Story Book Love from the Princess Bride movie for myself.

I haven't decided completely. This music stuff is stressing me out. Thank goodness I have my BM's helping. I doubt I'll be paying too much attention to music on the day.

We're going traditional all the way.

I know it's lame, but it's also required by our (Catholic) church. They have a set list and there are very few deviations that are permitted. The ceremony musicians are through the church and they simply won't play other stuff. But that's totally ok by me, honestly.

Plus, Trumpet Voluntary - it's literally the ONLY time you'll get to walk to that, you know?! And of course, I love Canon in D for the BMs.

Now we just need to choose readers which is the new dilemma that we're having . . .

I have no idea at all! For the longest time I wanted to walk down to Ava Maria but I dont know if it really works with the feel of our small outdoor ceremony. We will see.

haha glad I could offer another suggestion! I've always loved the Elvis version of that song but didn't want any words in our ceremony music so when I found this last year I started crying instantly haha.

My girls are walking into Canon in D. I'm 99% sure I will be walking down to an string version of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and FI and I will be walking to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by that Hawaiian guy with the long name... haha!

Not sure about the bridesmaids yet. Canon in D and all of those other traditional songs are beautiful, but not my style.

Can't Hlep Falling in Love by UB40 is our first dance song :-) Love it!
It's perfect for us.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen are walking into "Somewhere over the Rainbow" By Jason Castro and I'll walk into the traditional Canon in D. I get teary eyed everytime I hear that song!

My Dj also recommended the Forrest Gump soundtrack song for the bridesmaid and groomsmen to walk into which I like; but I am set on the somewhere over the rainbow song for them to walk into. Surprised how many other brides are using that too :-) Such a pretty song. For the recessional we are walking to "Could You Be loved" By Bob Marley.

Oh my goodness. I wish I knew but between house-buying, job searching, and just life in general, I haven't even thought of ceremony music. All I know is that I want to walk part way to one song and then switch to "here comes the bride" (It's a really really long aisle). We need to pick a recessional and sand-ceremony song too. No Ideas whatsoever. wedding-planning fail.
