Prayers Please

My best friend just got into a car accident. She is bruised and has knots but is otherwise okay. Her car is most likely totaled. I am wondering if I should bring her anything.. flowers, lunch, etc. She is in the ER right now.. any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope she has a speedy recovery. Flowers seem to cheer anyone up when they are down. I'm sure she would just appreciate you coming to see her. It's the little things that count the most!

Lunch, for sure.  ER waits are the absolute worst, especially after car accidents when you're scared and nervous but not seriously injured enough to be seen right away.  You might even take a pillow to her so she can lay down across a few seats.

Exactly what PP said, food!  I had to wait four hours after cutting my finger, and I was definitely starving by then.I'll keep your friend in my thoughts!

Sounds great. Thank you all so much. I am still trying to figure out which hospital she's at, then I'm on my way!!

Food is also good if they give her meds.  I can say from experience that that kind of adrenaline rush combined with Vicadin on an empty stomach is no bueno.

Why not take her a book to read and some lunch?
