DJ Poll... Who's better?

Ubi or Vision DJ's? both are offering me the same price... HELP!

    I dont really think there's a good answer for that.  I've heard awesome things about both of them.  We are using Vision because I felt that Ubi was way more difficult to get a hold of then Vision but that's pretty much the only reason.  I dont think you can go wrong with either, really!GL!

    I've heard great things about Ubi, but when its not him DJing, they get mixed reviews. I've only heard of Vision from you ladies. So I was hoping for some input! I spoke to Jorge, just now and he's very nice. I'm soooo torn!!! :(

    I would say Ubi, only because he's my DJ & we clicked really well.I never met personally with Visions but I did speak to him over the phone to set up an appointment and he sounded really nice and professional. He's also had some good reviews here.Your best bet would be to meet with both and see which one you click with more.I wasn't too much help here, sorry! :)

    If you book Ubi, make sure he puts in your contract that it would be him DJing the wedding and not one of his guys.  I did that with Vision.  I wanted either Jorge H. or Jorge A. and I had them put in the contract that it would be either one of them attending our event.  They usually charge for a guaranteed DJ but I got them to waive that.

    I had the same dilemma.  I ultimately went with Vision.  I'm hoping to be able to afford some extras like GOBO, confetti cannon and pin spots and Visions' prices were all less on these.  His uplighting (which I did book) was also less expensive.HTH

    Vision also just "revealed" their DJ booth/table upgrade on FB.  It's really nifty looking.  It's lighted and colored and they can match the color to your uplighting.  It's really neat.  If I can figure out how to post a PIP, I would show you guys.

    I just looked it up on FB. I love it! Do you know how much that upgrade is? LOL I'm learning so much on this site, I think I am going to go over budget. :-\

    I messaged Jorge this morning about the upgrade because I love the idea.  He said it was $100.00.  Thats not bad. In the grand scheme of things, whats $100 more dollars when your already spending so much.  LOL - thats what I keep saying to myself.  By the time I know it, my extra $100 will turn into an extra $1000.  hahaha

    It is exciting!  I cant believe my ticker already says 8 months and a bit to go.  Where did the time go.  It seems like just yesterday that it said a year.  Whooo!

    Ubi was AMAZING. I didn't contact Visions b/c of the whole not being able to guarantee a DJ.

    What do you mean not being able to guarantee a DJ? I know their are multiple DJs in their company, but they always get a good review. With Ubi its the same no? doesn't he have multiple DJs and he doesn't specifically say he's your DJ? I spoke to Ubi this afternoon, and he came in $25 less than Vision. I don't know if the $25.00 should be the deciding factor though... Tough choice!

    Try Freddy from Dance All Night DJs 305/335-1985 he is not a multi op company, you deal with him and he is the one who will work your event. He did my wedding and did a great job.
