Hello NM Brides!

Hey! Where is everyone?  Any new things anyone wants/needs to share??  I have a meeting today at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, I am excited, but bummed at the same time because there is already a wedding there on my date and that bride booked the space I wanted :(   I guess you snooze you loose! Right? 8 mo to go and I have yet to find a venue.  I dont want to use a hotel, I want something different....

What in the heck is the Wool Warehouse? And where is it??

Wool Warehouse is an old theater space/reception space in downtown albuquerque.  Its sort of a lofty type place with exposed brick walls - beautiful and old.  You should be able to see some pictures here:www.vladblog.com/albuquerque-new-mexico-wedding/

My exciting news is I think I found the perfect bridesmaid dresses! They're from the UK though and I'm unsure on the sizes, so I'm not sure if I'll take the risk for the extra style points... img=http://www.unique-vintage.com/images/unique-vintage/10424larger.jpg

Hey there!  We got married at Delancey Street Foundation.  Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!  The price is great, the service is unbelievable.  They set everything up for you and clean up.  Get a hold of James Galle at 852-4291.  I'll send some pics if you'd like too!  I will recommend it to EVERYONE! They made our day so great.

Hey everyone. This is my first time on here and so far I am getting a lot of good ideas on which vendors to use.
My fiance and I are getting married on the 24th of April, 2010. I am originally from UT and FI is from KS. So it is a little hard to find things we want.
I can't remember the name of the church at this time. The reception will be at Isleta Resort and Casino. Mainly because that's where the hubby works. Photographer is being brought in from out of state. Bridesmaid dresses have already been ordered and are from out of state also.
This month I will be looking for a dress while my parents are visiting for the holidays. Does anyone know of a good place to start looking?
I am also still in need of a cake, tuxedos, flowers and hair places. Thanks everyone and your help is very much appreciated!

Unique Cakes By Karyn is a great place. When I ordered mine a little less than a month ago they were having a special.

Signature Sweets is florist shop in town with some really unique flower ideas. They really pay attention to little details. Their number is 833-5400. Albuquerque Florist was at the bridal show sunday and they had some beautiful bouquets on display. albuquerqueflorist.com

I loved Budget Bridal where I got my dress. I have heard some of the best reviews about Bridal Elegance by Darlene. There is a new Alfred Angelo shop in Uptown shopping center.

Hope that gives you some ideas where to start.

    Good Luck!
