quebec city is beautiful and would be great for a honeymoon. you could break up the drive and stop a night somewhere in quebec in between. we were thinking about a closeby honeymoon as well. we thinking maybe renting a cottage up by muskoka or parry sound. we rented a cottage here before www.clrm.ca. it was pricey but really nice. or you could drive up to sauble beach and stay in a b&b in owen sound. or go to a spa such as millcroft inn which is about an hour from toronto or i hear amazing things about st. ann's by cobourg. there's also a really nice beach there. or of course there's always niagara on the lake. lots of driveable options! : )

Well... what's your style? Do you want a secluded cottage, a fun/touristy area to explore? Adventure/athleticism or arts?

Huron County is very nice, Niagara on the Lake (b&b), Blue Mountain, Muskoka, Kawarthas . . .

Friends of ours went to the Couples Retreat and said it was really nice.

We're planning on staying at one of the Vintage Hotels in Niagara on the Lake and doing some wine tours and pampering in the spas.

Agreed with the above - Niagara on the Lake, Muskoka, or Montreal if you want a little bit more to do!

Ditto PPs, it depends if you want outdoor/cottagey/canoeing and hiking or spa & vineyards.

I would suggest in NOTL, the Oban Inn or Pillar & Post as nice, reasonably-priced places for a relaxing spa vacation, there are quaint things to do in town and vineyards to visit.

in QC, there is always Quebec City!
