Bootsy - Best advice ever! 1st consider where you want to deliver, even if you aren't TTC yet, if you get pregnant some Gyno's will not take you once you have been seen by another Gyno at any point during the pregnancy. I hated where I delivered, this time I made sure my Gyno delivered at Texas Womens.
I would really like to at Kingwood Hospital. I knew some people really dislike them but every experiance I have had there I loved! Also I have serval close friends who had wonderful delivary experiances. TIA!!!

Kingwood is an HCA hospital and so is Woman's Hospital. You may check woman's hospital's website and cross reference it with Kingwood's website.Click doctors, then click OBGYN specialty.See which docs from women's deliver at Kingwood, then I can give you a rec
I know you already made your appointment, but if it doesn't work out below who my SIL used. She said she LOVED her.Dr. Jennifer Browning (Care For Woman) 281-359-7000
I can't recommend her from experience, but a few ladies from the bump recommended this doctor when I had asked: Dr. Breazele. She's my doc and i LOVE her! She delivers at St. Luke's in The Woods, which is so great, I felt like I was in a hotel - not a hospital. I'm secretly plotting ways to keep her as my doc and still deliver there if I have another one - even though I'm 2 hours away.
Bummer! Did you go to another doc there at Kelsey? I've been to 3 of them. :-P If you're iffy about the other doc and you do get prego she will fit you in for an earlier appt if you want to try her out.
my sister will be delivering at Kingwood in December. She's seeing Dr. Roach, but from what sis has been telling me about her appointments, I wouldn't recommend her. she's not very hands-on--didn't measure the fundal height until 24 weeks, still isn't doing Leopold's maneuvers at 32 weeks, etc. (you'll learn these as you go through your pregnancy). I would recommend a doctor who is hands-on.unfortunately, I don't know any others in the area other than my mom's but she's way past baby-making stage and wouldn't know what she's like as an OB. :)in about a year, I'd be able to help you since I'll have been an L&D nurse in the area (hopefully) for 4 months by this point next year! haha.
