  I definitely hit a rough patch myself.  We had a few major things booked before we pushed out date back - then when I went to start planning again earlier this fall, getting a new date to work with all the vendors that already had deposits made me want to pull my hair out.  Then we found out one vendor had raised there rates, but we were already lucky enough that they were upholding the $1000 deposit we already gave them, we didn't really have a choice.  

  I was ready to throw in the towel at that moment and book a flight to vegas or maui.  

  
  

  I took a few weeks to try and not think about anything wedding related, and slowly things started working out again.

  
  

  Maybe you just need a few weeks away from the wedding mess, then slowly start knocking things off the list again.  Good Luck!

  I was really overwhelmed as well, having just purchased a house and starting a new job...who has time for something that's 9 months away? But FI has been a darling and has been helping me knock things out one at a time. We started picking one or two things a week to do and it's amazing how quickly it gets done. Good luck!

  EmDizzle - I's Shane's Gourmet, they're closing at the end of the month. IDK what happened, they were always busy and they were really great.
  
  My fiance found me a wedding planner so I'm pretty sure she'll help greatly.

  Oh no, that is such sad news about Shane's.  I know one of their chefs.  I always thought their food was really good too!  Good luck on your search for a new caterer!
