Denver Salons

Hey all, I am not sure what to do for my hair!!!!! I am getting married January 9th and as the time approaches, I am worried that I'm not going to find the right person to do my hair. Does anyone have any suggestions in Denver or in Lakewood/Littleton? I would really like an elegant salon. THANKS!!!

scarlet salon looks really cool...and really expensive - is it??  i'd love to find a hair stylist that i like enough to go to more than once (this has been sooooo hard for me), and i'm never satisfied b/c my hair type combined with my features never looks at all how i think it could!  could you give me an idea of how much $$ they cost?   thanks!

I second Scarlet Salon. I used to see David there, he is fantastic. However, he does not do "wedding hair" anymore because he got sick of all the bridezillas! Try Sonia at the Retro Room in Lodo. You get a free drink when you go get your hair done! (its also a bar). It is NOT an elegant place- more funky and fun. However, this girl did my friend's wedding, and the hair was AWESOME!

My hairstylist was amazing!  Her name is Sophear and she works at Cashmere Salon and Day Spa in Highlands Ranch.  She did a FREE trial for me and only charged me $55 for my hair on the day of.  She even went to Sally's Beauty to buy a hairpiece for me and just charged me the cost of it ($10).

Have you thought about having a highly qualified and awesome wedding stylist come to you? I think that is even more elegant and glamorous than any salon! Rachael at Girls and Curls is the best and she is the one who did my wedding and several of my bff's. In fact, she did all the hair for the wedding of a stylist at the Scarlet Salon...That should be enough said! :) Her website is www.girlsandcurls.com and you can email her from there. Also, her number is 303-881-7130.

kjyoung9, I just saw your post from a while ago about how much the Salon costs. Honestly it depends on the stylist. I have been seeing Kim for a long time and we were roommates when my girlfriend Kelly got married in Hawaii (btw Kelly Flew Kim out to Hawaii to do her hair! Thats how much we all love her!) so i think sometimes she gives me a good deal. But her cuts range from 75-90$ and color just depends on what you do if you do it. BUT she is so worth it and her cuts last me longer than other stylists cuts did, not sure how thats even possible...haha but it is! Anyway let me know if you go try her out :)

Hey Emily - thanks for the info.  That's pretty steep for me, but I may go anyways in order to find someone I like enough to repeat my business, and that's worth some extra $ to me.  I'll let you know if I go over there for sure. Thanks again!
