I'm Back!!!

So, it was a crazy day, but it all worked out.

First off, the day before the wedding, it snowed all day long, so issues on the wedding day were inevitable. I've never experienced that much snow in Dallas.

Anyway, my hair appt for 8 got puched back to 10 because of the snow and road conditions. Then, when we're heading out of the house, she calls and pushes it badk to 11. So, we mill around for a while and I get a call from the photographer, and she's snowed in. Ugh. She suggested some others, but the real issue is that she doesn't want to give me my deposit back. Ugh.

So, I managed to find a photographer (the day of) on facebook for a reasonable price. thank, God! Then, I get to my hair appt and the lady is 30 minutes late. Ugh. So, no way for me to make 12:30 make-up appt and they are booked for the rest of the day. So, I managed to get a 2pm appt with MAC at a mall, and they did a great job.

Anyway, after all of that, everything worked out, but my attitude was stank! Everyone says the wedding was great! I don;t have pictures yet, but I will share them as soon as I do.

The honeymoon was cool. It wasn't all lovey-dovey like I expected. More like regular life, on vacation, and hubby got sick. Ugh. But, we enjoyed ourselves.

Life is good! I'm enjoying settling into our new life. I'm actually off to cook dinner before my hubby gets home!

@tyboyd - Girl, I know. I was upset she couldn't make it, but I knew it wasn't her fault. Then, she says she'll call some photographer friends and see what their rates were, so I was like, "You mean, I have to pay some one else? Well, what about the money I already paid you?" And she goes on to say it's non-refundable, blah, blah, blah, and she will get me an alternative. Totally not cool with me. I just know my check needs to be in the mail.

First of all, congratulations! Second, I would just like to say my mother always says, "sometimes the best laid plans never happen", but in the end, everything was pretty good for you. It was such a blessing finding that photographer on FB at the last minute. And most importantly, you and the hubby are now married and have both safely returned from your honeymoon. Life is good.
