  Hi, I looked at the Oakside Mansion for my wedding.  I've never been to an event here so I can't comment on the food. The things that I liked about it were that it was different than a traditional wedding venue (its an old house w/ history). If it is a smaller wedding it would be in the house which had a lot of smaller rooms w/ fireplaces - I thought this was cute. It had a outdoor space for the ceremony, although, the outside space was a little noisey b/c it was near a highway. Its byob - which can be an advantage/disadvantage depending on how you look at it.  We were having a small wedding so they actually raised the price per person and took out food, so other places we looked at turned out to be a better fit for us.   I visited last weekend and they told me that in another year they are going to have a new tent built (more permanent with heating and cooling). The biggest downside for us is the road noise from the highway, If you are not having your ceremony there it is a great venue. Its for a smaller wedding (100 to 150). Amy is nice. Food wise they seem good but lots of the "add-ons" are a la carte.
