Post nuptials name change?

Hi hi, I only found the site about three weeks before my own wedding which was two weeks ago (10/10), but I thought I would ask this question since I notice some of you are already  married as well. Name change?  Do I have to do anything in PA before I go to SSA and get my new social security card?  Other than have my marriage certificiate.  You try to search online about the process and all you get are the name change kit offers fro $40 ... which sounds like a scam to me.

    Once you have the marriage license, do the SS card. Then do your Driver's License. Once you have one or the other, you can do credit cards, bank accounts, utility bills, passport, HR paperwork/email, and so forth. Without a new SS card, most places won't allow a change, and some want a photo ID and a SS Card. I live in NYC now, and it's one of 4 places in the country that doesn't allow doing your SS Card through the mail - so you are lucky. But seriously, changing your name is so difficult and unfun.
