Photographer in the $2K Range?

Hi Ladies!

Planning my Atlanta wedding from Texas, so I need help! Looking for a good, high quality photographer that won't completely break the wedding bank! We are hoping to spend right at or a little less than $2000, and we're getting married on a Friday night (I know some photographers give a discount for that).

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Dom Foto is great! They are easily under $2000 for their mid range package but can go anywhere from under $1000 to over $5000. Alex Kay does great work!

I'm using Chris Brock with Premiere Photography, and so is Chefysgirl. He's at chrisbrock.org. His prices are completely reasonable. For 2k, you can actually get him and an assistant, which I think is great because someone can focus on you and your man and someone can focus on your guests. If you use him, please tell him Bekka sent you. (Referrals can't help but butter him up, and a happy photog makes a happy bride!) Good luck planning! I also live out of town, and the girls on this board are super helpful.

We are using the Photography Shoppe and they have very reasonable prices for all of the things you get! Take a look at their website to get an idea of pricing and packages. We got a slew of stuff for $1800.

We're using Kelly Embry (www.kellyembryweddings.com)
Her prices start at 2400 but she is really friendly and was willing to work with our 1800-2000 photography budget.

Our photographer is awesome!! She mostly shoots children maternity photos and is trying to get her foot into weddings. So she's giving awesome deals. Her name is Amy Hoga http://www.amyhogaphotography.com/. I used to shoot with a high end rockin' photographer before I moved and this chick is every bit as good.
