Almost my turn

My wedding is in two weeks...TWO WEEKS!! I've been on this board since Sept 07 and seen so many brides come and go... I'm so glad its finally mine turn.I've been posting a lot on the Nov 09 board but I just want to say thanks ladies for making this wedding planning experience fun. I hope I'm not forgetting anything at this point...any suggestions of things I might need to check on?

As long as you confirm with all of your vendors I'm sure it will be PERFECT!  Congrats on it being so near!

Woohoo, so close now. My turn isn't until next May so I don't have any first hand advice to give ya but as I've learned from friends' weddings, relax and enjoy yourself! At this point don't let the last minute details freak you out or overly stress you. As long as your bridal shop isn't suddenly going out of business and not giving you your dress a month before your wedding (like the poor bride on Say Yes to the Dress) then I think you'll be A OK :D

I don't know if you're worrying about rsvps, but if you are, my advice to you is to let it go. That was my biggest headache two weeks out, and nothing I did mattered, so if I could go back and do it over, I just wouldn't worry about the guest list.  I guess that's true for most of the wedding planning.  Just don't worry about what you can't control.  The day of it will all fall into place, because you've spent months or years planning.  Also, if you don't have a coordinator, I'd start putting together a very detailed list of everything you need done on the big day.  I didn't do that, and just told people what I wanted them to do, and then an hour before the ceremony I had to run around and fix everything that wasn't how I wanted it, either because people got confused by my instructions, or in the case of my aunt, thought their ideas were better. And enjoy the next two weeks, they're going to fly by!
