Romantic Fall Outings.

Alright, it's been a wee bit slow in these here parts so let's start a random yet fitting for the season topic. :p What do you like to do for date nights during the fall in Austin? For me and FI, we definitely try to be outdoors as often as possible. We like walking our min pin around Town Lake, hitting up Blue Dahlia and doing First Thursdays (much more enjoyable with cooler temps). Other things include Vino Vino (we tend to drink more in the cooler months for some reason) and watching all the 'Oscar Buzz' movies that come out. I swear, not a weekend goes by without seeing a movie beginning around the end of October.

We go to Alamo at least once a month, sometimes once a week depending on what is showing. We go walking every evening, just to enjoy the weather. FI is not really outdoorsy, but he will go for a bike ride with me, or we go kayaking in town lake. We don't really do date nights.

This is such a good thread! I wish there were more responses because I would love to have some more options to pick from!  Since I'm a full time student, my fiance is kind of supporting us, so everything we do is low budget, especially with the pending wedding.  So any other great ideas would be wonderful!  Lovin the First Thursday's idea... totally forgot that even happened! lol

Sara, I'm also a student and my fiance is the breadwinner (for a while anyway). I would actually suggest the events they have going on at Ruta Maya. They have coffee, live music, dance lessons, etc. It's relatively cheap too.
