How to show love to a friend--I'm missing her b-party

OK, so one of my good friends is getting married June 19 and she's having a b-party memorial day weekend.

At least I'll make her shower, but the wedding is 3 hours away, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't know that she "should" invite the baby (who will be about month old at that point). He'll be young enough that immunity and stuff will be an issue, so I don't think I'm going to push the point.

And I'll definitely miss the bachelorette party, which is going to be just like mine was last year, part of the girls' weekend we do at the beach every memorial day. I'm totally bummed b/c she helped to plan mine last year *and* she carried me home and bought me pizza, etc.

So, what can I do to show her that I'm thinking of her that weekend? I want to send along some kind of care package or something that the ladies can open at the beach, but I'm not sure what to include. Any thoughts?

    are they going somewhere that they can get pizza after? You could do mini tylenol packet and a pizza gift card..of course a nice card saying how you wish you could be there, and so on.

    Yes, that's a very good idea. Or I could look in to buying a gift card for the bar we always go to down there. Basically buying them all a round of drinks :)

    Is there someone from your area traveling there?  If so, I'd do a laundry basket type thing, with waters, snacks, maybe a bottle of booze, some plastic/disposable cups, sunscreen, etc.  Just maybe some inexpensive, but things that will be useful.

    Otherwise, if you're sending it, then something small, like the tylenol and gift card P2 suggested.

    I think if there's a Dominos/Large Pizza Chain there, you should get her the card, then you can say that you're sorry you wouldn't have the opportunity to buy her pizza.

    I like A&R's idea with the water, snacks, booze, cups, etc.

    She's getting married on my birthday!

    I went to a b-party last year where one of the long-distance BMs sent a huge bottle of the bride's favorite champagne to the table at dinner with a sweet note.  She just called the restaurant she knew we'd be at and gave them her CC info over the phone.  It was really nice.

    I have another idea - although I LOVE Brie's suggestion about the champange.  If you have any inside joke(s) with the bride, you can send her a care package of items she would laugh about.  ORRRR... I doubt the b-party would have any sort of "theme," but if it did (a certain color, etc.), you can send the bride something related to that.
