Hello to all!!

Just wanted to say hi, I am new to *this* local board.  I live in SW Missouri but have just started planning my Destination Beach Wedding for West Coast FL.  I'm sure I will have LOTS of questions and need tons of advice.  Todays question = ) I plan on a small wedding (25 ppl max), wanting white sandy beaches, pretty water.  And currently researching large house rentals on the beach.  Any opinions on location? And recommendations on where to start?  TIA!!!!Katie

    Check the Ana Maria Island area, there are a lot of beautiful rentals in that area.

    I was going to say Anna Maria as well. The sand is white and the water is beautiful...I am getting married on Anna Maria!!

    Welcome.I live on Siesta Key and it is beautiful here.But nothing has taken my breath away like Gasparilla Island, Boca Grande, and the Cayo Costa State Park area.Good luck planning.     Welcome! I live in PA and am planning a destintion wedding too - this board is a TREMENDOUS help! And you feel like you know everyone even if you don't meet them! Don't be afraid to ask questions - you should see some of the stuff I have asked lol!

    Thank you all! Everyone seems super friendly and helpful! I havent picked a date yet, waiting on a venue so I don't get my hopes up and have to change it.  But general time frame is late next summer/early fall.

    Sunset Beach House is private and white sand beach. Perfect for your size list. It is right near St. Pete Beach just north of it. Treasure Island maybe? Boca Grande, Anna Maria, Lido Beach, Siesta Beach and Venice Beach (probably the cheapest!) are all white sandy and beautiful!
