Forgot how to bustle up the dress

Help! My wedding is in a few weeks, and I've completely forgotten how to bustle up my dress. It's from David's Bridal, and it's an Oleg Cassini.http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&categoryId=-49978998&currentIdx=11&subCategory=-49999486|-49998984|-49978998&catentryId=6096838&sort=It has a series of one loop and several bands of fabric fasten and two points on either side of the centerline on the underside of the short train. Has anyone else had a bustle style like this, and how did they go about working all these loops and straps?

Re: Forgot how to bustle up the dress

  • i am guessing the ribbons aren't color-coded?  this is easiest with the dress on, so if you can try it on, do so, or hang and have a friend help you puff it out from the back.  locate every loop and ribbon and find the middle one.  tie the middle, and work your way out.
  • Can you just call the seamstress that put the bustle in?Maybe they can show you how to do it again.
