Central Jersey Rehearsal Dinner Suggetions

Hi all - I am looking for a place for a rehearsal dinner.  Probably about 30-35 people, and I would like a private room.  Goal is to keep it at $50 max including tax, gratuity.  I am looking in the Freehold/Marlboro/Manalapan area.

I would love any suggestions!  Thanks!

It'd be a little further north than the area you are suggesting but try Ria Mar in South River. We had our wedding there and are very reasonable. 732-257-1100

I'm looking in the same place as you. So far online I've found: Nonna's, Sam Vera, Courtyard on Main. I'm getting married at the Radisson so that's not an option for me, but I know they do rehearsal dinners there. I heard Peking Pavillion does private parties but there's no details online and I'm not sure if they will do a private party in the evening. I feel like it's really hard to find a place in this area that has a private room for Friday evening parties. Federici's also does private parties upstairs, but for a Friday night it has to start after 8:45pm and I think that might be a little late for us. I want to stay somewhere near the Radisson since we have a lot of OOT people, so that's also making life more difficult for me. haha At this point I'm thinking Nonna's might be a good option, because they have two private party rooms available and they also have alcohol packages. Let me know if you find something else!!

Cutie - Thanks!  The Radisson is on my list of places to check out.  My mom always went to Luchentos and got a menu there.

I am having so much trouble getting one with a private room for a Friday!  Ugh.

I REALLY love Brioso, but they said no dice for a Friday night.  Lame.

All Seasons has a private room.  I'm not sure of their people minimum, but it's right there in Freehold, would definately be affordable, and has been recently remodeled. I haven't seen the private room since the remodel, but the rest of it looks nice.  I think it is BYO also, which helps with costs.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Cranbury Inn and everything was wonderful.  We had an intimate rehearsal dinner so my in-laws decided to have everyone order a la carte but they did have the option of a dinner that included everything except open bar.  I'm not 100% sure but I believe the dinner was around $35++.  They have a few different private rooms you can use.

I went to check out SamVera for my rehearsal dinner too. I spoke to Romeo. He quoted me 50 per person. We're having just about 20 and he showed me a room that was a perfect size. They have larger rooms. The 50 did not include drinks, but I know the service and food would be fantastic. I just don't want to spend 50 per person, so we went to check out  Pino's on Route 9. They had a large room, too big for us, so we could do the dining room  and have a section for ourselves, and it looked really nice and cosey(spelling?) and choose from one of there packages, which I think started at 30 pp or we could order off the menu, plus they have nightly entertainment, Italian singer one nite, piano player another, etc. So I really liked that, but I'm still looking. Good Luck.
