Crestwood Manor?

So my fiance and I have looked all over for a reception site.  We saw the crestwood manor and fell in love with it! Has anyone else booked there or been to a wedding there?  They are still renovating a bit (paint and a few minor things yet) and we are having a hard time visualizing how it will look as a reception site.  There is no dance floor (the whole room is a dance floor) and the room wasn't 'set' for anything in particular.Just curious if anyone else booked there and their thoughts!

My friend is having her wedding there! I think that place is fantastic because it's one wedding at a time and a lot of venues claim they are but truly aren't. It's also very intimate and if you work with the vendors they recommend, you can create a reception room to your  liking just by using lighting and other decor options. I also know that they are transforming that main room into something really special. They place used to be a complete mess but I know for a fact that it's going to be really luxurious once they finish renovating :)

Really?  When is your friends wedding? Let me know how it goes! I decided to take a chance and booked it yesterday.  He was able to show me the fabric and paint they will be using so I felt a little better.  I love the other room and figured if they were able to come up with that, the other room would be just fine! Thanks!

hers is next fall :) I got a chance to see the colors they are planning on using as well since i work with an entertainment company too. The gold will be a really nice touch :) I think the space overall is really nice, I went there to see how our company can enhance it for future parties and it's a good space for lighting and some of the novelties we use, so you made a good choice :)when is your wedding?

I haven't booked a thing other than the church and hall.  I'm keeping with the idea of fall- chocolate brown, red, orange etc.

that's the best way to go :) my friend is using more jewel toned colors (plum/dark greens), but i like the traditional fall colors, I think it makes for a beautiful reception.Let me know if you need any help with further planning. I'm not sure where you are looking, but I highly recommend Priscilla of Boston. They just have such a beautiful variety, but you do need an appointment. Why not do the Kleinfelds experience? if you are in the mind set to get your dress i'm SURE you will be able to find it here, plus you will really feel like a bride when they start pulling dresses for you :)it's nice that your mom atleast can come up and be there for the dress shopping, be ready for the waterworks when you start trying them on hahatake my email down though  just incase you need to reach me for any other referral stuff :) diana@nationaleventconnection.comI was also going to say, being in Northport for your wedding, i'm not sure if you're familiar with the area but there are a few beaches in the area, as well as northport village (nice photo opt)
