BM shoes

I need some help.  I have 8 BM's, they are all wearing different dresses but from the same designer same fabric same color.  The primary color is indigo but the trim on some of the dresses are cafe (not all of the dresses have trim).I don't know what color shoes they should go with.  I am wearing casual flat sandals with my gown.  See below (they are the blue-ish ones)http://www.endless.com/dp/B00267SML4I was thinking silver shoes cause that seems to go with everything but I am not sure how it will go with the beige color trim.  Then I was thinking Black but black doesn't always look good with brown tones. Then I was thinking of them just going with indigo dyed shoes but I would like the girls to be able to wear the shoes again.  So THEN I was thinking of letting them choose their own dressy sandal like mine (or whatever appeals to them) so they can wear it after the wedding too. What do you think of these ideas?  Your thoughts would be much appreciated!

Re: BM shoes

  • I think letting them choose their own dressy sandal is the best bet. You won't be able to see the shoes anyway if the dress is long, and most BMs are out of their shoes by the end of the night (mine were). Think about the last five weddings you've been to: Did you notice what shoes the BMs were wearing?

  • I would let them pick their own shoes.  They dress themselves every other day of the year, right?

  • Yeah, I wouldn't limit it to sandals, though. I myself prefer closed-toe shoes for dressing up. If they ask for color suggestions, bronzes would also look good with both brown & beige.
  • They are all wearing knee length gowns so that is why I am a bit concerned.  But that is a good point... I haven't really noticed the shoes on BM's at other weddings.  I will probably just let them do that... pick their own shoes.
  • Yes!  Please do!  As someone who has wide feet it is really hard for me to find shoes that are comfortable when I have a wide array of shoes to choose from, and it is darn near impossible when I am limited!  Your BMs will LOVE you for it!
