hair accessory question

Hi girls....does anyone have any suggestion for where I can buy a reasonably priced sparkly/rhinesone hair comb?  The ones at the bridal shop were like $400+ and the ones at my hair salon were $200+....I know they're quite a bit cheaper on etsy and other websites, and generally I buy everything online, but for this I'm being pretty picky and I'd really like to see it in person before buying.  Any thoughts on a physical store where I can get an affordable ($150 or less??) hair comb?    Thank you!!!

My mother and I went to a lot of craft fairs / shows over the summer, and found some hair accessories that were hand made and cheaper. They also weren't the same quality as the expensive ones, but I wasn't that worried about it.
  • I would check out Crystal Avenues on etsy, I got my hair pins and bridal jewlery from there. She has all different types of hair combs etc. She is awesome to work with and her stuff is beautiful!

  • I'm not sure where you are in CT, but there is a store in Newington called Cindarella's Attic and she had a bunch of them when I was in there a couple of weeks ago.  She is VERY reasonable, some of her earrings were just like what you see in bridal shops but because she works with craft vendors they were only like $8-$12.  I couldn't find exactly what I wanted but she told me she could always special order something for me.  Good luck!

The quality is really good. Like I said I bought my bridal jewelry (necklace, earrings, bracelet, and hair pins) from Sue. The pictures don't do justice. When the pieces came in the mail they are nicely packaged, and I couldn't get over how beautiful they were. I tried it all on, and it felt great. I know her shop is on vacation right now so you can't see other reviews, but check out her facebook page too!

  • Yeah, I know Etsy is an awesome spot for this type of stuff, but I'm being realllllly picky about this decision and my hair in general (sort of unusual for me as I'm usually pretty low maintenance!), so I just want to see it in person first and be able to try it in my hair before buying.  Amazon might work though, I can just order a whole bunch and then send back the ones that I don't like.
  • Believe it or not, I got mine at Charming Charlie for under $20 and not only was the quality great, so many people commented on it....
