Proof of Marriage on Honeymoon

Not sure if this has been answered yet, but we just got out marriage license today. We are going on our honeymoon the weekend after our wedding, but I doubt we'll have a marriage certificate by that time.  So what do we take with us to the honeymoon as proof of marriage?  I'm not sure we can get a copy of the certificate after everyone has signed it, but will a copy of a non-signed license work?

What do you need to show proof of marriage for? It took exactly a week for us to get our license back.

i can't imagine a reason for someone to ask to see proof that you got married... who would ask/care?

Our resort requires proof that the marriage took place within 30 days of the the scheduled arrival date in order to qualify for additional perks such as a complimentary couples massage and bottle of champagne.. etc.For us, we are flying out bright and early the morning after the wedding so our resort is allowing us to bring one of our invitations as proof since we clearly won't have a signed marriage license. I would recommend talking to your specific resort to find out what they require..

This might sound a bit odd but my officiant filed it for us. I'm sure depending on your location you could just get her/him/whoever to photocopy the marriage license. It won't have the seal on it but it will have her/his official signature that the marriage took place.   HTH! Kelly
