I just mailed out my STD postcards that I ordered from Vistaprint!! It's the best option! I downloaded the adobe photoshop trial software to create the postcards. Vistaprint provides a blank photoshop template that helps you guide where the design should be.  I had to save the final file as a pdf in order to get within the size limits that Vistaprint requires. When you upload the file in Vistaprint...the image may look a little distorted (i.e. not perfectly clear)..but don't worry..when the cards came in they look perfectly like the image in photoshop. This really is such a great way to do your STD cards. I would recommend getting the cheapest shipping option..though it says 21 days..it normally take only 5-7 days max. I think I got mine within 4 business days. So with shipping I only paid like $11 for 100 cards. The magnets are super thin, so I would recommend just doing the postcards. Plus you can mail the postcard as is with a postcard stamp (28 cents vs. the normal 44 cents) and don't have to get envelopes. Another suggestion, I used one of those corner rounding cutters that you can get at Hobby Lobby or another craft place. That way I didn't have the typical straight square postcards..the rounded corners looked really nice. I'll try to upload a picture of the postcard shortly so you can see. Let me know if you have any questions. I had a lot of fun doing these and was so excited to save so much money. I know some photographers will charge you like $100 for just 25 postcards. So this is a fantastic deal!

If you go to vistaprint and go to the free 100 postcards thing..then you can choose upload own image or something. Then from there they have a photoshop template you can download and then in photoshop you can add all your images/text/etc. Then save it as a pdf and upload that image for the postcard. I did postcards because their magnets are real flimsy and the postcards look really nice. My date is March 13,2010 and I just sent mine out last week..so like 5 months in advance..i think the recommendations I have seen are 5-6 months in advance. Let me know if you have any other questions.
