    Oh recap: MOH was immature, can I demote her and put another girl in her place? Then there were various disparaging things said about religion, squabbles between bride and MOH, finger pointing and then an untimely DD.

    I think she thought she was getting too many comments for it to be an appropriate blog? Then everyone kept pointing out this is a message board, where you post things SPECIFICALLY to get responses. And she kept whining "this is why blogging sucks". Sigh. If you use, out of the appropriate context, either "OMG" or "LOL" in your posts, I refuse to believe you are over 18. Licia, I would be honored to write your bio :)

    Wow.  I read blogs that get HUNDREDS of comments, if not thousands, on a single post.  Although those tend to be interesting topical blogs, rather than just someone's LiveJournal.From the sound of it, she probably WAS actually 18.  So sad.

    I asked her how old she was, she said "irrelevant", so I came to the conclusion that she was under 21. Then she snapped back that she was 24 and how dare I be so judgmental. She and the MOH sure weren't acting 24. Or 21 for that matter.

    This must have all happened really quickly, then?  I don't think I was out for more than a couple of hours...I've noticed that brides from South Florida tend to be either really awesome or totally crazy.  There's not much in between.

    Aerin-regarding the SOFLA girls: yes.A few have been really nice, sane people ... I've noticed that quite a few tend to lean on the side of BSC entitled brats (My apologies to any "sane-ies" reading this!).This one was the latter. She tried saying that since MOH was anti-Catholic an "influence" in her life, that she had the right to ask a different friend to be her MOH instead at her Catholic wedding.And she really did keep insisting that this was a "blog", we were all "mean", and we "didn't understand, her friend is OMG REALLY a bad friend". I don't think we ever got a reason as to *why* the current MOH is a bad friend, she just OMG is one.

    I also kept asking her if this woman was so anti-Catholic and a bad friend, 1) why did you ask her to be MOH at all 2) why did you ask her to be MOH at a Catholic wedding, and 3) why are you friends with her if she's so horrible? Methinks that there was no actual bad behaviour and rather this "new" friend just happened to be more into wedding planning than the MOH. But that's just a guess.

    Well, I at one point asked her if her fear was that her friend would call Jesus a loser in the middle of the ceremony or something ... I really can't figure out why else she could have possibly thought that her friends religious views were such a "deal breaker".I think Brooke's right. New friend is all "Oh, I'll help you do this, I'll help you do that". Old friend is just not kissing her @$$ enough to her liking.

    Not to keep talking trash...but I am...This was something I found really amusing about the whole post that I forgot to throw in here yesterday. Bride and MOH went to Disney together and while they were there bride was looking up characteristics of good friends and bad friends on her laptop.Because in order to establish what a good friendship is I often need to do google searches.
