FI, is not the best when it comes to getting the groomsmen on the same page. They are all over the country and the only one left in the area is a big time tax man for corporations, and is never around.
We're going to send them all a save the date, but I wanted to put them inside groomsmen cards, with a note that says he's going to look at tuxes, that he cant wait for them to be in town etc.
He's worried that the one he wants to come the most wont, due to his wife, kids and money issues. I told him to tell this particular groomsman that we'll cover 2 nights at a hotel for him, to lessen the costs.
Do you guys have any sly way of saying are you all still groomsmen? I feel awful for FI. His friends suck and he doesn't feel comfortable just coming out and saying. I wasn't there when he asked them so lord only knows what he said. Knowing him he probably just said something like: "Hey, I'm getting married you want to be in it."
