I am going to make a post about my shower soon!  So far I've been busy at work catching up; a lot happened over the weekend for some reason that I have to take care of.

I worked Saturday and Sunday, so I didn't have a lot of time for anything fun. Had a grad party on Saturday after work, but I didn't stay long because it was so freaking hot in the tent they had. I tried bringing my neices to fireworks on Sunday night, but they were bored after about 5 minutes, so we left (the fireworks are half an hour long). Overall, not a great 4th of July weekend, but oh well. Just means I have to make up for it next weekend Wink

Thought I had nothing to do all weekend, but ended up pool side all day Saturday, and on a boat all day Sunday (and got horrible tan lines). Watched fireworks from the boat. Yesterday we started tearing apart our master bath, and today I started the day off by getting my leg sliced open by a piece of tile. No insurance=no stitches for me! I finally got it under control though. Maybe I can milk it for a while :) haha

The hubby and I drove down to Pittsburgh (with Miss Lucy) on Friday after work.... she did soooo good for about 3 hours (6 hour drive).

Saturday am we headed out to Heinz field for some serious tailgating then on to the concert.  Uncle Kracker, Billy Currington, Zac Brown Band and Kenny Chesney.  It was sooooo incredibly awesome.  Probably the best concert I have seen to date.  After Kenny finished his set, Uncle Kracker came out and they sang a few songs together including "Cowboy" his hit from like 10 years ago.  Kenny Chesney sort of rapping was freaking hilarious.  Then Zac Brown and company came back out and they sang like 10 more songs together.  They sang "Knee Deep" together... so great!!!  Then did a whole bunch of old school rock and even some reggae-ish songs together.  Best. day. EVER.  :)

Sunday was breakfast w/ the in-laws before hitting the road.  We drove up through Wilkes-Barre and stopped at my Aunt/Uncle's house for a big family pig roast.  It was great to see everyone all in one place.

Then back home.  Kev had to work yesterday.  Boo.  I did umm... pretty much nothing productive.  Finally we enjoyed a super awesome 4th of July BBQ just the 2 of us.  Great weekend!!

Raes- sorry yours bombed.  Frown  But I do agree w/ you.... it just means that NEXT weekend has to be twice as awesome.

A military friend of ours made a surprise trip back for the long weekend so we spent Fri night drinkin with him, then a handful of us went to Green Lakes Saturday.

Sunday we went to a party on Seneca River that we go to every year. We learned quick that drinking and direct sunlight/heat dont mix with Josh and had to call it an early night (no fireworks). Then yesterday was just us chillin cuz Josh had to go oot for work again this week :(

    It was a good weekend.

This was our first 4th of July in MA.  I was honestly kinda bummed that I wasn't at Seneca lake, but had a glass of riesling with dinner.  We had my FSIL and future niece/nephew over, and she was kind enough to purchase a great firepit for our backyard.  We were sitting around it making smores, when my neighbors launched full sized fireworks in our street!  We ran out to our driveway to watch the show.  My neighbor walked by and told us they do it every year.  It was pretty awesome to see fieworks that close up!
