Day Of Coordinator

I am trying to decide on if a day of coordinator is worth the money.  I really don't like the idea of having friends or family have to take care of all the little details.

Anyone have reccomendations of someone that will work with a small budget?

Aslo, if you got a DOC, what did you pay? Was it worth it?

    I think a DOC might be the best money we're spending.  We're working with Vaneisha Brown from Your Happily Ever After.  She's actually acting as a month-of coordinator.   She is helping keep me, my FI, and my Mom (who is helping me plan but also lives across the country) sane during the planning.  Remember, you want your family to enjoy and experience the day with you, not have to deal with those little issues.

    Vaneisha has several packages to choose from.  Hope this helps!

    We are using Kristina Lynn and could not be happier about it.  I felt the same way as you that I have plenty of friends and family, but didn't want to burden anyone.  Kristina is young but on the ball with things.

    I've spoken with a couple of mid-priced DOC. One is Renee at AnAllureEvent.com, and the other is Michele at MicheleDamon.com. If your site does not have an on site coordinator, and you're not using a hotel or full service facility, then I would definitely recommend it.

    I would check with your church or ask around to people  who know an organized admin assistant or perhaps coordinates events. The poerson my friend used that i am using her full time job is an admin asst, if you are really organzied she does day of work on the side. She charged me 300 also i spoke to another admin coordinator  at job after the fact and she charges 250. Perhaps you know a type A who would not mind doing it. I know it can be expensive, but for peace of mine it is worth while.
