ESP Studio Photography Reviews

Has anyone used ESP Studios in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ for their wedding photography? I am considering them, along with Jason Rhee (a single photographer and much less expensive) and David Eric Photography which is also a husband/wife team like ESP. Any big advantage to having 2 photographers vs. one? I appreciate any feedback you may have on any on these photographers!

I don't know any of the photogs that you mentioned, but I really think that having 2 photographers is the way to go if you can afford it. I had a husband and wife team (David and Amy Lau), and they were great.  I loved having one photog at the front of the church capturing the family and bridal party walking down the aisle and another in the back, capturing the last moments I had with my dad before walking down the aisle.  Two photogs can get different angles, set up equipment twice as fast, have extra ideas of how to set up shots, can get more details at the reception.  Good luck with your search!

We booked them for our wedding in July!!  My cousin used them for her wedding 6 years ago and they were great. They are awesome people!

What made you choose ESP Studio over all these other photographers mentioned so frequently on these boards? What did you think of their packages and pricing? I'm wondering why they are not more popular among brides-to- be when their work is rated so exceptional? Who will actually be shooting your wedding and are you using their videographer?

well they did such a great job on my cousins wedding, and since me and my mom didnt want to drive our selfs crazy looking for a photographer, we booked them. if it aint broke, dont fix it, right?!   we havent picked who will be shooting us, they did give us the option since we booked them first for the day. im not sure about the videographer, my mom said she knows someone that could do it, but we havent gotten that far yet!  they are a bit pricey, but my moms favorite motto is "you get what you pay for"  and since she is paying(most of it) , we booked them!

Do you mind if I ask what package you chose and the price range? What choices do you have in selecting the actual shooters? Who is the videographer your mom is considering? Thank you so much for your reply. If you have any more details (or maybe your cousin does), you can email me as well at michelle221@optonline.net. Thanks!

I'm curious;what made you choose ESP as one of your choices? I was referred by a friend's friend. What I don't understand is how they are the 2008 Knot Choice yet the majority of the knotties here have never heard of them before. If you check out their website, the samples are from weddings several years ago. So I'm wondering why they seemed to have lost their popularity among future brides???
