I don't know if anyone here shops Payless, I do when I needs something cheap, but I was just watching Oprah and Chistian Seriano (sp?) was on. She and he are doing something where Payless is 50% off everything in the store today and tomorrow. Just go to [URL]www.oprah.com/payless[/URL]

I love Payless for their vegan shoes, but I'm mad that some of Christian's shoes have leather in them.

Kiki - I bought payless shoes about 12 year ago, no joke, that people still think are cute. They're starting to fall apart now, though. Sadly, since they cost about $18, I'm pretty sure the cobbler would laugh at me if I took them to be fixed.

I actually love thread jacks. Make life so much more interesting. I don't know if my mom still thinks that, but we got into such heated arguments about it. I agree she has entirely too much money. But she does some good things with it, so I can like her more than other people.

The pic in my sig is a really terrible one, but I chose it because it was taken the day he proposed, which makes me all gushy on the inside. I know you can't tell from the photo, but the only thing my FI has in common with your ex is glasses. But I can see where you'd get that from my tiny, terrible sig pic.

I've had 2 types I've alternated over. Bad boys with tattoos, preferably who play in a band, and geeks. I'm glad I'm marrying the latter (he's a mathematician).

I have never had a type. I wanted one. None of my exes have anything in common. But, out of all the boys I dated, FI is the one who is most similar to me. We grew up in the same type of place (po-dunk, miserable little towns in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by rednecks) and basically were raised exactly the same.

Aww! Mine is actually kinda turning into a geek. He's double majoring in Physics and Chem. But he's still totally the jock in personality. I always made fun of the really hot people in the harder classes. They almost always ended up being the dumb kids. So I can imagine FI in these classes and looking totally out of class. And then blowing them away when he actually talks.
