I just saw your post about my cake topper. I love that you love it and that you get it!I'm American but was living in Canada for 6 years and my now husband was in NY. We were on our phones ALL the time (as I'm sure you can understand).I ended up getting mine on EBay. Let me know what your fiance thinks of it. ;)

    Hi!He thought it was great too, very smart! We had 2 yrs of long distance, which doesn't even compare to 6 years! I give you tons of credit, I know how difficult it is. Not sure if we'll steal your idea or not. We've been living together for just over a year now, so I'm not sure if people will 'get it' (though they don't have too). Where in Canada were you living? I'm from Vancouver. FI's from Miami (where we're living now).

    I was in Montreal. (And I'm still sort of commuting up there - I'll be there for the next 3 weeks.)Is this your first time living in the states? How do you like it?

    This is my first time living in the US. We're in Miami and it's crazy! It's more like Latin America than America America... no seasons, no friends/family here... it's been hard, but it's worth it to be together :) We're hoping to be moving to the NE in the spring/summer, but we're waiting on answers from schools first!
